“Home” started as a project about illustrating places that are the most important to me. The more that I looked into the locations, I saw that all these places had a familiar sense of home. I have always looked at a home as more than four walls, but rather places where you're surrounded by good people and happy memories. I illustrated postcards to go along with each place. Then I made a process book explaining each postcard. I printed multiples and had people I felt were important to that place fill them out. I made the book by hand and made it very interactive with tabs and pull outs so readers could really interact with the book.
